What is Baptism?
Baptism is a public declaration of a personal decision to follow Jesus. It’s an outward expression of the inward change that happens when we put our faith in Him. Jesus Himself was baptized (Matthew 3:13–17), and He calls His followers to do the same: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
While baptism doesn’t save us, it is a powerful step of obedience and identification with Christ—symbolizing that we have died to our old life and been raised into new life through Him (Romans 6:4). If you’ve placed your faith in Jesus, we’d love to walk with you as you take this important step.
